  6. I'd only seen some of Cowper's portrait paintings before...just looked at some of his other work after seeing Our Lady of the Earth.

    Simply beautiful.

  41. That is one of my favourite Christmas scriptures! And I love that red Madonna looking so stately and royal. I hope your Christmas was happy - I know it was. Mine was too although quiet. We were only six this year at the grand lunch table on the verandah on Christmas Day.
