Mine had one glorious bloom on it when I bought and planted it... five years ago. This year is the first year it's actually got a bud! Waiting anxiously for opening day.

Thanks everybody...they got some sunshine today...so they're starting to open...I've got a mix of dark pink, pale pink, and white...in a few more days I'll bring a big bunch of them inside...
My father once sprayed the ants that were on the peonies -- they didn't open. Turns out the ants are necessary to remove the sticky goo holding the petals together.

ReplyDeleteEvery plant in our flower gardens are blooming a month early...and tons of blooms! They're blooming their blooming heads off.
