  2. This is fabulous, wonderful facial art/patterns. I'm new here, is this photo-manipulated, how is it done? Has so much depth, love the lighting, or lack of it.

  5. Actually, this was quite the happy photoshop accident. I'm not sure I could do it all again if I had to. It's almost as if one of my ancestors jumped out of the screen and grabbed me.

  17. Synchronicity just hums in the air
this fine Indian Summer day here in
    the Northwest. Mount Rainier
    shook off its cloud chapeau
and now has pushed out her
chest (I used to think mountains
had male persona, but my wife
has set me straight) and has
    blown all the clouds away.

    Your picture is stunning beyond
    belief; frighteningly beautiful.
And, I am told, my great-great-
    great grandmother on my mother's
    side was full blooded Cherokee.
It takes on eighth native American
    blood to claim Indian rights.
I think you pass muster. My Indian
blood lies too deep in the wood pile.

You're in great company! Will Rogers was a Cherokee. Reminds me of a song...Cherokee Nation. Love that song!Great Great!

  29. Love your self-portrait! It reflects what I love about faces...how they peel back to reveal the real person, showing all the cracks, crevasses and marks of time and experience.
