Singing in Sean Connery voice from "Darby O'Gill And The Little People"... "Oh she is my dear my darling one, her eyes are sparkling full of fun..." Great post! I loved Mister Bill! "Happy Theme Thursday," y'all!
"King Brian and the Little People's Revenge" -- I can see it now., taking out there pent up aggression against wild rabid golfers and stompers. LOL. Very funny Willow.
Haha . .you're a twit. I can never pick a mushroom just in case there's a fairy underneath it or a smoking catterpillar wanting to sit on it!Very cute.
That voice sounds strangely reminiscent of Mr. Bill! lol
ReplyDeleteHuh!
ReplyDeleteMethinks it may be time to up the poor man's medication.
ReplyDeleteSo I noticed it looked like there'd been bites taken out of a couple of those 'shrooms before the video was shot....
ReplyDeleteThis is what y'all do for entertainment? Okaaaay. Shall we call the men in the white suits?
ReplyDeleteI don't know if this is sooo funny because it truly IS funny....or because I know WT! tee-hee! I wish you had been filming him as he did it!
ReplyDeleteLiza beat me to it. I was going to ask if he happened to be the voice of Mr. Bill in the 70's. Either that or he was an avid fan. :)
ReplyDeleteLife at Willow Asylum! hahaha!
ReplyDeleteThat was too hilarious!!!!
ReplyDeleteLet me just check the status of the moon.
ReplyDeleteToo funny

ReplyDeleteWillow Asylum is right! I did notice that one 'shrooms had a couple of bites taken out of it. Hmm.
ReplyDeleteHe's this silly all the time, so I know it's not the moon.
Now, that's natural eradication of invasive species.
ReplyDeleteI still want to take that profile picture and put it on my sidebar because I think that it is cool!
ReplyDeleteLMAO! I'm with Liza in that he does sound a bit like Mr. Bill...oohhh nnnoooo! The golfers! ACK!...I'm okay!
ReplyDeleteWild indeed and good thing Alice and Mr. Caterpillar weren't there-LOL!
Okay, Otin, as long as you label it as me! :^)

ReplyDeleteSynchronicity strikes again -- I just put up pictures of a fairy ring on my post scheduled for tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I can get WT to come interview our mushroom folk -- he obviously has a knack for it.
Someone has a vivid imagination! LOL
ReplyDeleteI'm just shaking my head. Is he really that silly all the time? You lucky thing!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cruel life... and I thought you were supposed to have fun on a golf course!
ReplyDeleteI never realised that Willow Manor was such a creepy place. Great twist to the theme.
ReplyDeleteI saw the king running out of the frame, so I reckon he is sill safe. -J
ReplyDeleteHello Willow,
ReplyDeleteWhoever it was, he's not a very nice man! Poor King Brian!
Aw, WT sounds so cute. Does he always talk to the little people. Bless.
ReplyDelete...ummmm...where i come from killing the little people is bad moojoo! Bad golfer!
ReplyDeleteoh so funny....AND VIOLENT!!
ReplyDelete;)
UWOS! ;-)
ReplyDelete"The child is in me still and sometimes not so still."
(Now, children, we don't want to do this to our neighbors, do we?) ;-)
Are Derrick and I the only ones concerned about King Brian? I mean, he wasn't a bad guy so why bash his village. Shame, shame.
ReplyDeleteliza beat me to it....was having mr. bill flashbacks!
ReplyDeletetoo wild!
and the next vid we will hear your hero singing:
They're coming to take me away, HA HA
They're coming to take me away, HO HO HEE HEE HA HA
To the funny farm
Where life is beautiful all the time
OMG, how hilarious. I, too, thought of Mr. Bill.
ReplyDeleteY'all have such a great time there at the Manor. I salute you!
H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S
ReplyDeleteThat's a great story-board; love it.
PS. Perhaps you should have added the rider that 'No little people were injured during the making of this film.'
{{;-0}
Philip, that's a great idea. King Brian and none of the little people were harmed in the making of this film! ;^)
ReplyDeleteFunny stuff .. I am thinking some of those were magic shrooms....
ReplyDeleteMr. Bill indeed. Loved this post.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your slightly skewed vision of the wildside.
"King Brian and the Little People's Revenge" -- I can see it now., taking out there pent up aggression against wild rabid golfers and stompers. LOL. Very funny Willow.
ReplyDeleteHee. Loved Bonnie's comment and your response. too funny.
ReplyDeleteZombies, Vampires Insane clowns and my neighbor scare me but GOLFERS terrify me!This video terrifies us all!
ReplyDeleteWell, that was different.
ReplyDeleteAre they eatable? (The miushrooms not the little people)
ReplyDeleteThis little poem came to mind:
ReplyDeleteUnder a toadstool crept a wee Elf,
Out of the rain to shelter himself.
Under the toadstool, sound asleep,
Sat a big Dormouse all in a heap.
Trembled the wee Elf, frightened and yet 5
Fearing to fly away lest he get wet.
To the next shelter—maybe a mile!
Sudden the wee Elf smiled a wee smile.
Tugged till the toadstool toppled in two.
Holding it over him, gaily he flew. 10
Soon he was safe home, dry as could be.
Soon woke the Dormouse—"Good gracious me!
"Where is my toadstool?" loud he lamented.
—And that's how umbrellas first were invented.
I am a bit leery of mushrooms because I don't know much about which can be eaten and which can't --- but some of them do look cute
ReplyDelete...Still laughing!!!
ReplyDeleteBTW, I watched Rampling's Under the Sand as well. She's also great in Swimming Pool...
Weaver and Layers, we don't eat them. I don't know enough about them to take a chance. Too risky.
ReplyDeletee, yes, Rampling is wonderful in Swimming Pool, as well!!
ReplyDeleteHow cool! It's so hot that it seems we will not see mushrooms here so soon...
ReplyDeleteJane, that such a charming little poem! Thank you! LOVE it!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI can't stop laughing. The golfers! The golfers!
ReplyDeleteOMG I'm dying over here.
Haha . .you're a twit. I can never pick a mushroom just in case there's a fairy underneath it or a smoking catterpillar wanting to sit on it!Very cute.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing so hard I'm crying. This is just the sort of thing I used to amuse my children with.
ReplyDeleteI will forever have a new respect for golfers after seeing this video. And maybe a tiny amount of fear.
Ok That just cracked me up. Thanks!!!!!
