the deterrent

Tattered and Lost sent me this hilarious cartoon by Hilary B. Price,
titled "The Deterrent". Since it fits in with my recent series of clown
posts, I had to share. Hop on over to her fun blogs, which are chock
full of wonderful vintage photos and ephemera. Her creative
thoughts accompanying each piece are delightfully entertaining.

  1. This is a hoot. I suppose we have all been drenched with our love or disdain for clowns. The only ones I truly like are those that march on by me at parades.

  2. That's the type of humour I've always liked. It reminds me of the cartoons in The New Yorker. Many thanks for sharing, i still got a few minutes left from my luch so I will pop over to their sites.

  3. Being a taxidermist, I can relate to this...however I love the clowns of the Cirque du Soleil, they have an other era charm to them...if that's 'Ronald', it's a good place for him!

  10. Wow Willow, thanks. I'm glad you liked it. As soon as I saw it I thought of you and another friend who hates clowns.

Now if I could only find the photo I have of my brownie troop with Bozo I'd write at my blog about my theory of Bozo as crime fighter. I think it would turn our criminal justice system on its head, but doggone I can't find the photo!
