fighting blogger blub, part two

There's got to be a way to get more exercise and not give up any of
my blog time. I think I'm going to have to break down and invest in
one of these nifty workout desks. Whad'ya think? (I kinda look like
this in the morning with my glasses, anyway.)

I know this isn't in English, but it's better this way.

  1. Hi Willow,

Very brave of you to take this on. Is this the way you deal with aging gracefully?

  7. Luv the workout desk ... but what about coffee tea and eating a bagel? And doing apps on the iPhone?

  9. It has been too long since I've watched some old Woody Allen movies...Thanks for the laugh!...and the reminder that I need to get out there walking again!

  10. Oh, you are something,
I almost spilled my morning tea over the keyboard (and I was not exercising ... not yet!).

I loved listening to the Italian,
makes Woody's freestyle desk exercise even funnier! :-)

    Thanks! :-)))

  11. Is that Woody Allen?!

    ...that desk looks kinda dangerous...

I have heard that sitting with correct posture is actually a nice work out for the tummy area. I keep trying to do this but after about 5 minutes I'm back to slouching.

  12. Your last post was so heartbreaking, all the more because it happened to so many.

As for exercise, dogs are good, they won't take no for an answer and insist on being walked on the dreariest of days.

    Woody Allen cheered me up.

  13. Soon you will look just as you did in the charming photo on your sidebar!
I'm just walking the dog a lot which gives me a healthy appetite for cake and so forth!

  16. With Woody leading the way, what could go wrong?
Was this technology before or after the orgasmatron??

  17. Hey I want one of those. Looks like fun! Does Woody Allen come with the desk?

  19. this is so funny. hope your experience with exercise goes a bit more smoothly. spring/summer time is definitely the time to be away from the desk and out in the fresh air to my mind.

  21. Hello Willow,

A moment a light entertainment is worth 15 minutes of exercise!

  24. Yes, but I would prefer a chair that could just massage the fat cells away! I walked six miles today -- in glorious sunshine -- but this effort is barely stopping the rot, and certainly not reversing it.

I often think of the phrase, "Blogging Botero Booty."

  25. Yes, it was a rough, LONG winter, but my lawnmower doesn't have an engine and neither does the antique cultivator I use to plow through the corn rows, this is working off the blogger booty, ever so slowly, it's the tan I'm working on now(farmer tan)...

PS.. I'm with you, the door stays green, are we hopeless romantics or what?!

  26. I think the answer is not to emulate Woody but to get up, take that camera and go out and walk, walk, and walk some more .. take pix while walking ... its amazing how good walking is as exercise ..

  27. You're right! It IS even funnier in Italian. Now I'm thinking Roberto Benigni!

  29. I see your walking log has disappeared - has it gone into the past? Dogs mean daily walks and come rain or shine that's what we have to do with the bichons. Mind you, it's not helped my blub at all.:)

  30. Thanks for making my day! That was too funny.

  31. I agree it wouldn't be as funny in English...or without Woody! tee-hee! I like Derrick's thought. Let's just laugh instead of exercise!

    ReplyDelete
  32. That's hilarious!

I'm not surprised that you didn't get into "Australia". It's had some canning here and I'm not at all interested in watching yet another outback cattle movie.

  33. Hi! Willow,
    What a very funny clip!...

Willow said,"I think I'm going to have to break down and invest in

hmmm...I don't know because in the end things kind of, ran amok!...but, you are right about the language it was better to watch Woody Allan, in action without the men speaking, English, but communicating in a foreign language.
    Thanks, for sharing!
