Outing, Marc Chagall, 1917
Well, I am back down to earth this morning from floating around on
cloud nine yesterday. It all started when I checked my blog, after
being out and about all afternoon. Something was wrong. My followers
had unbelievably doubled and my first thought was that someone was
messing with my followers widget. Well, to make a long story short, I
checked my dashboard and to my absolute amazement, Life at
Willow Manor was listed for December 5th as the Blog of Note!!!
Many, many heartfelt thanks to the wonderful people on the Blogger
Team for choosing my humble little Manor! I am thrilled for the honor
and also for all the lovely visits from thousands of bloggies from all
over the world. 3,247 of you stopped by yesterday. I was totally
overwhelmed. Thank you!
You have one of the best blogs going, Willow, and by far the most visually beautiful. I'm so happy that more people are getting a chance to see it.
ReplyDeleteWowza Willow- How awesome! People know a good thing when they see it girl. =)
ReplyDeleteWOW!!! And to think I knew you when...

It couldn't have happened to a better blog or a nice blogger, willow. Richly deserved.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What a wonderful surprise! And they picked the perfect day to feature you too! Enjoy your accolades.
ReplyDeleteWillow, When I read in your profile, "I live in an old stone house..." I thought it quite telling you would begin that way... I too like stone. Found your blog enjoyable and calming. My first visit. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on making the A - list! You do have a rather informative and fun blog, so is it any wonder?

ReplyDeleteKat
Well, it's about time.
ReplyDeleteThey finally got one right.
;^)
Your blog is a thing of beauty. I just stumbled upon it via "The Bohdi Tree" and I will definitely be back to spend more time. It's like an art museum here! I love the Colville and the Wyeth paintings. My first piano teacher assigned a poem every week to be recited at the next lesson and Stopping by Woods was one of the first poems I had to do. Not that I remember any of them now or anything....
ReplyDeleteIf any one deserves it, you do. Congratulations, Willow. :0)
ReplyDeleteGreat blog. Interesting stuff, great bio snippet. Who doesn't want your life?
ReplyDeletelol! - it was only a matter of time, Willow! enjoy!
ReplyDeleteWillow, Congratulations! Nice to see so many others are discovering what I already knew...great site, great posts... art, poetry everything and an occasional recipe. Love the Chagall! Mary Ann

ReplyDeleteHola, this is my first visit to your blog. I'm going to have a look, but I think I will like it for sure!
ReplyDeleteWow!! I am truly impressed!
ReplyDeleteWhat a refreshing blogg! Somehow you brought me to another era... I used to live in Odense, Denmark and with your photos, pictures you created a nostalgic feeling of how I experienced Denmark. I too love stone manors, and lived in one when i was first married,in fact it was over a hundred years old, the walls were crooked and had a red roof. It was across an old church called Frue Kirkestraede in Odense. Love old architecture!
I am interested in the study of the mind, metaphysics and all of the arts and sciences.
Have a little corner were I write my hearts sentiments, you are most welcome to stop by and browse.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! Vivi
