The best of times is now. How true that is. How often do we say, 'In a couple of years, I'll...' or 'When we have some more time we'll...' I think you just have to go for it!
I know you are very busy in the kitchen or laying that splendid table for your loved ones, but I just had to pop in and wish you a very happy Thanksgiving! Yes, and I shall dwell a moment to join hands with you all to say grace and express gratitude. Please, I shall have a hearty helping of turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and lots of gravy too. Pumpkin pie? Of course, especially since it was homebaked by you, dear Willow.
Happy Thanksgiving, Willow! May you spend this day with the ones you love. I noticed many years ago that whereas people in GB don't celebrate Thanksgiving, in the US, on the other hand, Christmas seems to have a lower profile than in the UK. I wonder why? :-)
Dear Willow, thank you for caring enough to miss me a little. We had a wonderful little trip to cure the cabin fever of hardships besetting us on the farm at present. Copious posts will follow. I've had a dash through yours and will be back soon for more enjoyment. Happy Thanksgiving to all at the Manor.
Happy Thanksgiving, Willow! I hope you have a wonderful day with your family.
Willow, I'm way behind with blogs and ones in my "following" list tend to get lost in the shuffle. Since you have tons of followers already, I'm keeping you in my sidebar, but removing you from my "follow" list. I hope you DON'T (that's better) mind. You know I luv ya!
Willow, Happy Thanksgiving! I loved your funny turkey story below. They can actually be vicious birds in a flock, attacking joggers. I still enjoy seeing the wild turkeys out on my bike rides.
Your banner makes me smile, especially the varying lengths of the girls clothing.I remember wearing clothes large enough to grow into and wearing them as long as there was "wear left in them"!
I hope you're having a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend at Willow Manor. Aren't leftovers wonderful? I think I enjoy leftovers almost better than anything else!
