ago today on March 19, 1913 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This
picture, taken somewhere on the outskirts of Albuquerque, is so
adorable. I love how they are holding both sets of hands, knees
touching and gazing into each others' eyes. Ah, young love is
so precious, isn’t it?

That is so sweet! And Aunt Dee, if you read this, I want to know the story behind that huge white bunny!
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful family picture! This really is a lovely photograph. It got me thinking of new Mexico too... ahhh, heat and sun.
ReplyDeleteGranpda raised rabbits and chincillas before you were born. I remember playing with the chincillas, but the rabbits (Dee is holding one) were before my time. ;)
ReplyDeleteOnce again your old family photos charm me. There is a story behind every one of them. I love that you treasure them and share them with us.
ReplyDeleteMy dear grandpa died last year and I inherited his family photos. (there are tons of them because they were photographers) I have been working on scanning and printing to make albums for all the extended families. It was going to be a surprise for last Christmas, but the project was much bigger than I expected and most already know...I can't keep a secret! ;) Hopefully I'll have them ready this year.
ReplyDeleteThis is just totally sweet. I love these old photos.
ReplyDeleteHi! I came over from Sara's.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to have these photos of your great grandparents. Nice blog.
