It is a perfectly perfect day at Willow Manor. What have I been doing? A little potting of flowers, a bit of poetry writing, and some delicious piddling. My three guys are providing my favorite Mother's Day tradition of Chinese carry-out and beer later this evening on the patio. Clear skies here, in Central Ohio, cool and breezy. My idea of wonderful. Hope you are enjoying your Sunday, as well.
Sounds like the most magical day, Willow, I'm so glad you're enjoying Mother's Day. That photograph is infinitely beauty as well, so marvellous.

Steven, what would I do without my boys? I had a nice chat with my daughter, earlier, who lives in New York. The only thing that would make this day more perfect, is if she could be here, as well.

ReplyDeleteSounds pretty fine -- much the same here -- watering the potted plants like Browning's Brother Lawrence, taking some pictures, enjoying a dazzling and breezy-cool day, and knowing that my younger son and his girlfriend are fixing dinner. (Chinese carry-out sounds terrific but no one delivers anything but the mail out where we are.)

We had a similar day here--gorgeous weather, talked to Eric and my sisters and brother on the phone, brunch with a bunch of friends, (with champagne mimosas that made me crash on the way home they were so potent.) Planted in the garden, and relaxing tonight. Enjoy!
