Katherine Stone was kind enough to ask to publish my poem

    Hey Wills,
    I'm not much into poetry, but I found your poem Emma very moving.
    I am sorry, I couldn't tell when/if she was released from the hospital?
    How long was she hospitalized?
    BTW, my own mother's mother had a similar thing going on. Long time ago in Japan.

    Dog Girl, Sadly, Emma was there until her death in 1932 at the age of 41. I'm sure her problem was exacerbated from the deplorable conditions at Central State in those days.

    Toldya you rock! The poem is quite significant and from the literature guru...reminds me of classics like The Yellow Wallpaper, even Woolf's Septimus, and all the people and characters who suffered not so much as their desires and response to nature as their recommendations of 'rest cure' and later 'bed rest'....

    You deserve publication and more!
